In my opinion engagement photography is extremely important. I really think that there is nothing better for your wedding day photos.
Couples ask me a lot of times about engagement photos. They wonder if they should do an engagement photo shoot.
Let me tell you! YES! YES! YES! It is for sure.
Engagement is such a beautiful and very meaningful time in couple’s life. Usually couples are engaged for only a short time (for the most part) and every couple needs to enjoy it. And sometimes planning a wedding is taking up all of the time. Take a break and get your engagement photos taken!
Engagement photography is a practice run.
An engagement photo session is a great time to get to know your wedding photographer and build a great relationship with him or her. On the wedding day you will spend a lot of time together. By doing an engagement photography session you are giving your photographer a chance to see how you and your partner are as a couple and how you interact with each other. As a result, this will help your photographer to capture those sweet moments during the wedding.
Another reason is to have a test run for the wedding day. You should think of engagement photography as a practice run for your wedding portraits. You will feel so much more relaxed in front of the camera, because your wedding photographer will give you awesome tips for what looks great in your final photos.
One of my favorite reasons for the engagement photoshoot is to be able to create something special and custom for your wedding day, such as a guest book with your engagement photos.
You will be able to get amazing photos for your save the date cards and for your guest wedding book. Those are the things you might want to have. Dont forget to print your favorite photo. There is no better way to display your precious photos. Those prints will remind you of that happy time in your life.
